Camp SHAKESPEARE
Southern Shakespeare Company and Tallahassee Community College are proud to offer Camp Shakespeare each summer for rising 3rd through 9th grade students!
Structured with rotating activities for two age groups, this week-long camp offers something for everyone. Housed in the beautiful TCC Fine and Performing Arts Center, campers will discover the excitement of theatre and performing with a big focus on FUN!
A WEEK-LONG THEATRE DAY CAMP
Your child will experience many outside and indoor activities, including arts and crafts, backstage work, drama games, theatre techniques, water balloon battles, and mock sword fighting. Directed by professional theatre educators from Southern Shakespeare in partnership with Tallahassee Community College, Camp Shakespeare will bring theatre and Shakespeare to life. The week concludes with a performance on the state-of-the-art Turner Auditorium stage where your young artist will showcase what they learned and created during the week.
We cannot wait to explore, play, and learn with our campers each year.
- June 10-14, 2024, Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Rising 3rd – 9th grade students
- Hosted at the Fine Arts Building of Tallahassee Community College
- $180 for the week – discounts available for TCC staff and SSC members
